This ceramic incense dish is made by hand in Longmont, Colorado. The base of each dish is carefully crafted from white stoneware and custom colored clay made from pigments that remind me of the Atlantic Coast, where I grew up. The stoneware and colored clay are arranged and hand rolled into slabs, and then pressed by hand into curved molds to make the final form. A final piece of clay is molded and attached to the center of the formed slab to hold your incense in just the right place to catch the ash as it burns. Designed to hold either cone-style or stick-style incense.
