The Circle Board is a round cutting and serving board precision-made from locally sourced, kiln-dried wood and hand-finished in Khem's Hudson Valley, NY studio. Each board is 7/8" thick, with a rounded, seamless form that moves from daily prep to charcuterie, bread and butter, or dessert. This board has been sanded, oiled, and waxed with food-safe finishing products. The riveted leather strap is great for hanging.
Variations in grain pattern, color tone, and natural markings are expected and celebrated—making every piece one-of-a-kind. Each board is finished by hand with a food-safe oil and wax blend that enhances the natural grain and allows for easy maintenance over time. Made to be used, refinished, and enjoyed for decades.
Dimensions: 14" diameter x 7/8" thickness
Care:
- Wash by hand with warm water and mild soap.
- Dry immediately and thoroughly with a towel.
- Do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
- Re-oil regularly to maintain the surface and protect the wood (food-safe board oil or oil + wax blend recommended).
- For heavier wear, the surface can be lightly sanded and re-oiled to refresh the board over time.
- Store flat or hang using the leather strap in a dry environment.
From KHEM: Many clients ask us if it is okay to cut on the boards. Yes! If you want the best of both worlds, use a jaw-dropping presentation; use one side for cutting and the other for presentation for special occasions. These boards are made for use!
